The Hope-Brained Way Workshop

For full-time, bi-vocational and part-time clergy serving in a Wesleyan denominational context, I invite your participation in a one-time-FREE ministry training, Wednesday, January 11–Thursday, January 12 from 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m. EDT.

Curious about trauma-informed spiritual formation and how this research on “hope-brained restory” might benefit you, your staff and your congregation? (In other words, want to know more about what I’ve been studying about for the last four years at Asbury?

REGISTER for “The Hope-Brained Way Workshop,” a two-day/six-session online opportunity to discuss the synchronization of theology with psychology, neurology and sociology in the work of emotional healing and identity reformation through gospel reframing and spiritual transformation. Workshop registration is limited to 24 participants.

This inaugural workshop serves as the culminating project for my Doctor of Ministry in Leadership at Asbury Theological Seminary. All participants will be asked to complete a brief pre- and post-workshop survey. A small group of participants will also be asked to share their workshop experience in one of two one-hour focus groups held the week of January 16–20. (Future dates for The Hope-Brained Way Workshop and other hope-brained events will be announced in the spring.)

CEU CREDIT: Workshop design reflects standard requirements for one CEU credit. A certificate will be provided. For those seeking CEU approval from your denominational leadership, recommended/suggested "approval request" information is available.
